WITH the show jumping season upon us, Munster show jumpers have been busy putting ideas together in a bid to raise funds for the very popular Munster show jumping leagues.
Although the greyhound fundraiser was successful in raising funds in the past, members in the region recognised that they needed to find a new way to funding the leagues, which in the past was a lifesaver to many shows in Munster.
The brainchild of Paul Beecher, a rodeo night will take place on April 8th in Kilcoran Lodge in Tipperary. A fun night, it will be open to adults, children and young riders and each team will consist of three members.
Munster show jumper Paddy O’ Donnell said: “The Munster leagues are a very important part of the show jumping calendar for many show jumpers, both in the region and in surrounding areas. It is important to keep these leagues going for all riders. The rodeo night is aimed at families and it promises to be a very good evening. I urge everybody to come along.”
