THE popular Glencarraig Lady League came to a conclusion last Saturday at Barnadown with some very talented rising stars lining out to take one of the coveted titles.

In the under nine years division, it was Alice Moloney and McKay who claimed victory. The young Kilkenny rider also took second with Surgalstown Danny Boy. Saoirse O’Neill and Nobel Sparkie took third, ahead of David Brennan and Lightning Jack. Completing the top-six line-up was Alex Sheehan and Tyrellstown Ruby.

In the under 11 years section, Jamie Hardagan took the first two slots. She won with Windale Honey Bee and was runner-up with Weydown Sunflower. Taking third place were Jayden Duffy and Shin a Wil, ahead of Anna Sheehan and Tyrrelstown Beauty.

Slotting into fifth after a great performance was Andrew Moore, ahead of Aoife Wafer and My Milltown Molly.

The best turned-out winner in the under nine division was Dylan Howard, riding Joker Lady, while the under 11 award went to Isobel Hourigan, riding Little Rock Hopscotch.
