SNOW, snow and more snow....

The country was virtually brought to a standstill by the fluffy stuff but horse people nationwide still managed to care for horses and ponies throughout.

One good example of that was Jane Kennedy’s Brennanstown Riding School, Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow, which faced very challenging and stressful days from Wednesday to Saturday last week with over 60 horses and ponies in, and deep snow on the ground.

The Bloomer family weathered ‘Emmageddon’ as did all the equines – many thanks to the few that made it in and stayed over, particularly Louise, Jonathan, Delphi, Belinda and Sarina, whose input was invaluable!
