SEAN Foley claimed victory in the 1.20m class at Kernans Equestrian Centre on Sunday, when he partnered the Dermott Lennon and Gerry Marron-owned Kinmar Z to a double clear in 38.40. Children on Horses rider Pippa Moore took the runner-up spot with GSS Mircino, when clear in 40.20, ahead of Tabitha Kyle and the GBBS Int-owned seven-year-old, Daliradas Boy, clear in 45.99. Slotting into fourth place was John Floody aboard the Tom McGurk-owned Kannan Contessa, clear in 48.50, while in fifth was second Lt Raphael Lee and the six-year-old Fortside Obsession, carrying a single time fault in 52.62. Tabitha Kyle also picked up an unlucky fault, with Ursula Ter Wilgen, they came home in a time of 52.64 for sixth place.

WInner of the 1.10m was junior rider Mark Neilan and New Haven Star, when they were fastest of the eight double clears in a time of 29.77. Children on Horses rider Charlotte Butler secured the runner-up place with Esprit de L’Esprit Z, when they stopped the clock in 30.47, ahead of Isla Acheson and Emoe Marley in 32.36. Children on Horses rider Pippa Moore slotted into fourth with Gss Mircino, in a time of 32.42, while in fifth was junior rider Mark Neilan and Guy Gano in a time of 32.51. Completing the top six was amateur rider, Eagle Zakaraite and Talbot Siss, in a time of 34.12.
Amateur Balmoral qualifier
It came as no surprise that there was a good turn out for the Amateur Balmoral qualifier, with 67 going to post. It was a competitive class, with the top six coming home clear within 37 seconds.
Taking the win was AA rider Nicole Lynch and My Velvet Lady when they galloped home in a time of 34.14. Taking the runner-up spot was Niall Hughes and CES Seamanchip in a time of 35.12, ahead of Ava Stubbs (AA) and Tullyhill Lucy Diamond (35.15). Slotting into fourth place was Niall Hughes (A) and Perle Fine (35.33), while in fifth was Aaron Gorman (A) and Deerpairc Disney (36.17). Craig Lovett (A) and Sligo Candy Call, took sixth, when they crossed the line in a time of 36.46.
