Jessica Burke gave a good account of herself at the Morocco Royal Tour at El Jadida over the weekend. She secured a sixth place finish in the CSI4*-W 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier on Friday, riding Express Trend, the 13-year-old bay gelding by Future Trend.
Jessica followed this up with a fourth place in the CSI4*-W 1.50m Winning Round competition on Saturday, with her other mount Nikey HH, a 10-year-old bay mare (Herald Van’T Ruytershof x Upsilon Vd Heffinck).
Burke concluded a worthwhile weekend on the African continent when steering Express Trend into 10th place in the CSI4*-W 1.55m World Cup Grand Prix on Sunday.

Healy in the line up at Oliva
The Autumn Mediterranean Equestrian Tour at Oliva, Spain, concluded on Sunday with the CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix. The 45 starters were whittled down to 11 in the jump-off, of which Ben Maher and Ginger-Blue were the fastest to claim the win. Ireland’s Nano Healey wasn’t far behind, however, when he placed fourth with the nine-year-old bay stallion, Oak Grove’s Clown FRH (Cascadello x Balou du Rouet), jumping clear all the way.
