ON Saturday, eight horses contested the Young Event Horse Discovery four-year-old final where John Tilley took the three top places.
He won on Borris Cornet Coole, when they were awarded a score of 94.0, while his second horse Jerpoint Will, followed closely behind on a score of 91.0. Both horses are ISH geldings. Borris Cornet Coole is by Castlefield Cornet x Warrenstown You 2, while Jerpoint Will is by HHS Cornet x Cloverman. His third mount, NPS Nebraska, was awarded 90.0 for third place. This mare is by NPS Super Nova x Diabeau.
Meabh Bolger’s MBF Caesar Rocket finished fourth on a score of 85.5, while Emma Jackson’s Atty M accounted for fifth when awarded 83.0. Jason Doerflinger’s CSF Hollypark Guiseppe took sixth place on a score of 75.0.
Daisy Trayford on Industrial Action won the Young Event Horse Discovery Final for Five-year-old horses \ Tadhg Ryan Bit-Media

Winner among the five-year-olds was Daisy Trayford’s Industrial Action on 89.0. Bred by John McDonnell, the gelding is by Baltic VDL and picked up extra points for canter and gallop. Ciara Power and Stonehaven’s Dreaming finished one point behind to take the runner-up spot.
Daniel Alderson and Seafield B Lucky was third on 87.0, ahead of Daniel Alderson and Seafield Celt, who finished on 85.0. Fifth place belonged to Sian Coleman and Randalstown Prime Time on 81.0, ahead of Emma Jackson and Rockrimmon Legacy on 73.0.
National Discovery Horse Final
A total of 15 qualified combinations lined out in a bid to claim the National Discovery final for four-year-olds. Taking the coveted title was Ita McDermott aboard Colm Cuff’s Pink Floyd TN on 91.5. McDermott got the upper hand on her closest rival for the scope and agility mark. The KWPN mare is by Erco Van’t Roosakker.
Jordan Coyle had to settle for second place with his own stallion Peroni, when finishing on a score of 90. Third place went to Michael Daly and Ivy Coast Uptons Cosie on 88.0. Camilla Speirs and Don Juan Z took fourth place on a score of 87.5. Tom Hearne took the next two placings in the line-up, taking fifth with Drumiller Dazzler on a score of 86.5 and sixth with Aoife Kelly and TR Sporthorses’ Calzerra on a score of 84.0.
