LILY Slattery did the double when she and Captain Candy Man captured the win in the Flagstaff Equestrian Bedding 1.10m to add to the one they had in the 1.20m equivalent. They crossed the finish line in 22.58 to head proceedings.

Junior rider sabelle Duffy took second place riding Kate Duffy’s mare A Star Is Born (Sir Shutterfly x Castana), bred by Mick Kearney. They stopped the clock at 23.40.

Orla Dixon and her own seven-year-old Ravens Mister Rolo (Koro D’Or x Emerald Van’t Ruytershof), bred by Jackie Lee, finished third in 24.41.

Grand Prix winner Gary Dooley rode Alice Coxon’s Absolute Fern (Flagmount Clover Diamond x Kilbricken Rosie) into fourth, while Mark Duffy and Eugene Killalea’s home-bred Red Lottie Brigade (Lancelot x Clover Brigade) took fifth.

Sixth went to Joshua Joyce riding Roger Joyce’s stallion Drumneath Jack Jones (Dow Jones Courcel x Jack of Diamonds).
