DONAL Geaney’s German-bred Inspector Roscoe, ridden by Dan Geaney, proved best of the bunch posting a winning time of 33.66 in the 1.20m division which saw 77 go to post at Maryville.
Paddy O’Donnell and his own gelding Minority Report were runners-up in 33.87. Ciara Desmond riding her mother’s gelding Feeling Groovy (Cassino - Coolcorran Cool Diamond) took third place in 37.93secs.
Fourth went to Gemma Phelan and Cullinagh UG in 39.99, while fifth was Jack O’Donohue’s seven-year-old mare Cruising With Alice (Clover Flush - Cruising) in 40.54.
Orla Queally and the eight-year-old Numero Uno – Heartbreaker mare Nour Alain completed the line-up in sixth.
Kate Dilloughery and her own 10-year-old German-bred mare Rosalie dominated in the 1.10m class. She took the victory in a time of 30.80 – a win over four seconds faster than her closest rival Aimee Barry, riding Garrydruigh Limoncello (Amaretto Darco - Cruising), in 34.98.
Alannah O’Donoghue and the seven-year-old gelding Mac An Bata (The Bat – Jerry’s Pride) took third place in 35.75 while Gary Flynn and Argento Cruise (Arko lll – Cruising) were fourth in 36.15,
Fifth place went to Cathal McMunn’s eight-year-old Loughan Special (Askoll Peter Pan - Renville), ridden by Philip Horgan, while in sixth was Peter Smyth and Jill Connor’s daughter Hannah Connors Smyth riding Ronan McLaughlin’s nine-year-old Dutch-bred mare Heldin.
