Under the ownership of Cameron Hanley Showjumpers, the Belgian Warmblood son of Toulon has been produced by Duffy, who works mainly for Hanley’s brother Carl.
Following interest from outside partners, Hanley sold a half share in Living The Dream to his main supporters, Eleonore Paschoud and Yves Bouvier.
“Living The Dream is a very exciting horse,” Hanley told The Irish Field.
“Alex has done a fantastic job producing him and while it’s disappointing for him, it’s great that we’re keeping the horse in the yard.”
Under Duffy, Living The Dream has attracted plenty of attention on the European circuit. Already this year, they produced a good performance to pick up just one time fault in the three-star Grand Prix at Drachten, The Netherlands.
The following weekend, they were just touched off in a competitive Grand Prix at the four-star show in Amsterdam.
Among 13 to take on the jump-off course of the 1.60m class, they produced a good clear that was less than a second off the winning time.
