THE Longines FEI Rankings for February were released this week and look very positive for Irish riders.
In the show jumping rankings, Irish riders are very well represented, with five senior riders listed in the world’s top 25.
The highest ranked of these is Shane Sweetnam at number 12, followed by Daniel Coyle in 14th, Conor Swail in 16th, Darragh Kenny in 21st and Bertram Allen in 25th.
Under-25
In the Under-25 show jumping rankings, there are four Irish riders inside the top 20. Harry Allen is the highest in fifth place, with Mikey Pender in sixth, Seamus Hughes Kennedy in joint 14th and Max Wachman in 16th place.
In the FEI Eventing rankings, Maryland five-star winner Austin O’Connor is Ireland’s highest-ranked rider in 22nd place.
