THE world’s top international student riders from 13 nations will travel to Ballindenisk, for the fourth leg of the AIEC-Student Riding Nations Cup (SRNC) series next month.

On September 2nd-4th, the Irish leg of the series will attract some of the very best young riders in Europe and North America and the competition is sure to be fierce, the fences high and the dressage tests challenging. SRNC Ireland will be the final leg of the series before the World Finals in the Netherlands later this year.

Each nation is expected to field their top riders in a bid to secure a spot on the podium and to take home the all-important qualifying points. Adding to the pressure of the progressively more difficult rounds, knock-out system and expectation, will be a unique riding set up.

Customary to student riding, the host nation will hire all local horses for the event. This means that these top-class competitors will only meet their equine partners on the day, a challenge in itself.

In a test of equitation and horsemanship, riders will be afforded just a couple of minutes warm-up before riding their rounds.

This event is a truly fantastic opportunity for local owners and producers to give their horses experience under the saddle of some seriously talented Irish and international riders.

Several of the competitors are established on the international scene and are competing to Grand Prix and three star level while balancing their studies.

SRNC Ireland is also a superb opportunity for businesses and individuals to support young riders while reaching an international audience as an event sponsor.
