Volunteers commended

Madam,

I WOULD like to sincerely thank all who expressed gratitude after the National Pony Championships this year. It would not have been the success it was without the volunteers from Leinster, Connaught, Munster and Ulster who worked tirelessly in bringing it altogether.

I would also like to thank Michael Hennessy and the office staff, especially Rachel Hughes, for their good spirit and preparation on the run up and throughout the weekend. The judges and officials were tasked with getting through high entries each day, and did so proficiently.

Chris, Gwen (Byrne) and their team at Coilog Equestrian were extremely professional and accommodating to these Championships and made the weekend run as efficiently as possible.

On a final note, I would like to show my appreciation to our sponsors, both old and new, without whom we would not have been able to run such a fantastic event.

And finally, to all who attended the Championships. The positivity and atmosphere that was created by you, made the weekend very special for all involved.
