The Irish squad will be chasing points at La Baule, Rotterdam, Hickstead and Dublin and is set to face the French at the first two venues.

At La Baule, teams also bidding for points are Switzerland, Spain and Belgium, while Rotterdam is set to be tough round with teams from France, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Germany set to battle for league points.

Among those who can earn points at Hickstead are Britain, The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, while Dublin has attracted Britain, the Ukraine, Germany and Sweden.

There are 10 teams in the division and at the end of the eight qualifying rounds, the top-seven will be eligible to compete in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup 2014 Final in Barcelona, Spain from October 9th to 12th.

A total of 20 qualifying events take place around the globe this year, the first of which was held at Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates last Thursday week. It was the only round of the Middle East Division. Qatar and Saudi Arabia finished second and third and have qualified for the final.

The next leg of the series will take place in Wellington, Florida in America on Friday, February 28th. This is the first of three competitions in the North America, Central America and Caribbean region.
