AFTER a two-year break due to the pandemic, the successful Co Kildare Equestrian Centres Show Jumping Team Challenge has been revived and will take place on Sunday, July 17th at Coilog Equestrian, by kind permission of Chris and Gwen Byrne.
Organised by Keith Griffin, this competition is, for many youngsters, the first time they have taken part in any competition outside their own base, and it seeks to serve as a friendly introduction to youngsters aged 16 and under. It’s open nationwide and all equestrian centres and riding clubs can enter as many teams as they wish.

The Team Challenge competition is open to teams of three entered by their riding club or equestrian centre, comprising of a rider from the 50cm, 70cm and 90cm classes. All are welcome to what will be a fun relaxed day with excellent catering facilities on site.
Entries will close by July 14th. Full details are available by contacting Keith Griffin at 087 2576415; email: griffinkeithm@gmail.com) or contact Coilog’s Gwen Byrne (087 9044158; gwen@coilog.com) or Chris Byrne (087 2532875; chris@coilog.com).
