HORSE Sport Ireland (HSI) said it will be announcing “opportunities for High Performance services” on their website and social media channels shortly.
Contracts for all the High Performance managers across the board expired on October 31st and, The Irish Field understands, have yet to be renewed.
Horse Sport Ireland has engaged Blue Lake Consultancy to undertake an internal review of the performance at the Paris Olympic Games. It is understood that former Tipperary hurling manager and co-founder of Blue Lake, Liam Sheedy, is leading the review.
HSI told The Irish Field: “This review is independent of the Sport Ireland review and is specifically designed to provide HSI with detailed recommendations to inform strategic preparations for the Los Angeles Games. As an internal document, this review will guide HSI’s planning and decision-making to ensure we continue to deliver excellence at the highest level of international competition.”
