HORSE Sport Ireland (HSI) is going on the road, bringing its schemes and initiatives to the four provinces over the next couple of weeks.
Breeding experts will be joined by the HSI equine geneticist and Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS) experts to keep Ireland’s breeders up to date on 2023 schemes and grants. HSI’s Breeding Schemes and Initiatives, the Microsatellite (MS) to Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP) DNA transition scheme and everything you need to know about getting TAMS-ready will be presented and discussed.
Following each presentation, those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask any questions related to the topics and the team will be on hand to deal with any queries they may have.
The HSI Roadshow dates are as follows: Monday, June 12th at the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Co Galway; Thursday, June 15th at the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown; Tuesday, June 20th at Charleville Park Hotel, Co Cork; and Thursday, June 22nd in The Club at Goffs, Co. Kildare.
All four events will begin at 6.30pm, when refreshments will be served upon arrival and will run from 7pm until 9pm each evening. Tickets are free of charge and must be booked on the HSI website. The HSI Roadshow and associated schemes are funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine under National Breeding Services.
