BOUGHT as a foal at Cavan, Creevy Pacino Cruise, the 11-year-old 1.60m Grand Prix show jumping stallion, sold last week at Cavan’s inaugural online auction for the princely sum of €100,000.

By Pacino and bred by Peter Killeen, Creevy Pacino Cruise is out of Creevyquinn Lass, who is by Cruising, and was ridden by Britain's Ben Walker.

The timed auction ran over two days and culminated in a tit-for-tat bidding frenzy towards the end, which saw the auction timer being extended numerous times.

The Timed Online Auction is automated and takes place solely online, making it convenient and accessible to all. Having 30 years of experience in Horse Sales both in-house and online, Cavan was well placed to make the move online and it certainly paid off, with this first of many future online timed auctions being a huge success.
