FRESH from her fourth place in the Longines Grand Prix of Ireland at Dublin Horse Show with the home-produced Fellow Castlefield, Kilkenny’s Susan Fitzpatrick has been selected by luxury Italian clothing brand Vestrum as an ambassador, both in and out of the saddle.
“I am delighted to be working with such a luxury brand that is so comfortable to ride in yet has such advanced technical fabrics and designs. I first discovered them in Portugal so was thrilled when they approached me about working with them – although I am far more comfortable on a horse in the clothing than in front of the camera,” joked Susan. Fellow Castlefield has since been sold to Greece’s Athina Onassis.
“We are thrilled to be working with Susan who, as well as being a gifted young rider, looks amazing both on and off the ground,” Vestrum’s head designer Fabio Calamai, who jumped to Grand Prix level himself.
All pieces are designed and manufactured in Italy and available in many leading European Stores Including Harrods of London. Vestrum is now available exclusively in Ireland through Boomerang Horse & Country Store in Thurles and on Boomerang.ie.
Sinead Maher, proprietor of Thurles-based Boomerang.ie, added: “I am delighted that Vestrum have picked an Irish rider to join their elite team. I will enjoy working with someone local who will also shine a further spotlight on the Irish young riders coming through the ranks.”
