IT was doubles all round for Ger Lyons, Colin Keane, Aidan O’Brien and Jessica Harrington at the Curragh last Friday week with the first-named pair capturing two of the three Group 3 races on the evening with Acanella and Sacred Bridge.

Sacred Bridge (111) was a most impressive winner of the Round Tower Stakes to stretch her unbeaten record to four. Travelling with ease in the formative stages of the race, Colin Keane had to do little more than change his hands to ask his filly to put her seal on the race. The daughter of Bated Breath covered the ground from the junction of the courses in 40.42 seconds having only been asked for anything like maximum effort for half of that distance.
