ALOHA Star, saddled by Fozzy Stack to win twice at two and run third in the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes, sold to Narvick International for €550,000. Emmanuel de Seroux revealed that the three-year-old daughter of Starspangledbanner would be heading to Grand Farm in Japan. Aloha Star originally carried the colours of David Keoghan after she was purchased through de Burgh Equine as a yearling for €67,000.

An hour later and de Seroux was again on the buyer’s sheet when he paid €520,000 for Frontgate, a Wertheimer-homebred daughter of War Front. The three-year-old was stakes-placed and is a half-sister to the Group 3 winning juvenile Snowday and the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes runner-up Arecibo.

Also heading to Japan is this year’s Group 3 Princess Elizabeth Stakes winner Parent’s Prayer. The four-year-old daughter of Kingman also won the Listed Garnet Stakes at Naas for trainer Archie Watson, and this €165,000 Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up graduate cost Haruya Yoshida €540,000. She was part of the Baroda Stud consignment.
