GERMAN ace Ludger Beerbaum took a second top Grand Prix win after capturing the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Chantilly at the stunning five-star French venue on his grey mare Chiara 222 from a starting field of 50.

The 13-year-old mare outclassed the eight others in the jump-off with saw Germany’s Daniel Deusser and First Class van Eckelghem take second just tenths of a second behind with Colombia’s Daniel Bluman in third with the 11-year-old bay stallion Conconcreto Apardi. In the LGCT ranking battle, Germany’s Christian Ahlmann still leads the way on 186 points overall. Ludger Beerbaum moves to second in 126 points Sweden’s and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson moves up to third, just one point behind, in 125 overall.
