Ruth Black and her striking grey, Hee Haw Henry, made a successful return to competition, winning the Preliminary 13 2006 dressage only class, while her sister Heather, also making a return to competing, took second place with Platinum Lily.

Ann Regan and the brilliant Barnstormer were in their usual consistent form, winning both the Prelim 13 2006 with jumping class and the Novice 26 2006 with jumping class. Erne Lakeland riding club chairperson, Maeve Lunny, and the well-schooled Millie were close behind in second place in both classes.
