NATIVE Trail will stand his first season at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €17,500.
The champion two-year-old and Irish 2000 Guineas winner is one of nine stallions who will stand at Darley’s Irish farm in Monasterevin, Co Kildare, next year.
Night Of Thunder heads the Kildangan roster, his fee remaining at €100,000, while Blue Point jumps from €35,000 to €60,000 following a very successful season on the track for his first crop.
The first crop of yearlings by both Ghaiyyath and Earthlight were popular at the sales in recent months but their fees remain unchanged next year at €25,000 and €15,000 respectively.
Profitable has been removed from the Kildangan roster.
At Darley’s Newmarket base in Dalham Hall, Dubawi remains at a fee of £350,000, which is believed to be the highest published fee in the world at the moment.
New recruit Modern Games, a two-time Breeders’ Cup winner and a son of Dubawi, has been put in at a fee of £30,000. Also new to stud for 2024 is Triple Time, a son of Frankel who was a 33/1 winner of the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot this year for trainer Kevin Ryan. His fee is £10,000.
The biggest mover on the Dalham Hall list is Too Darn Hot, another son of Dubawi. Following a good year on the track for his first crop, his fee rises from £40,000 to £65,000.
Darley’s Sam Bullard said: “The young stallions on the roster are our future and they continue to make compelling viewing.
“With the two most successful freshmen in 2023, it is exciting to have Pinatubo, Ghaiyyath and Earthlight with two-year-olds next year. We are so lucky to be standing these horses.”
Postponed has left Dalham Hall and Ribchester is no longer standing at Darley’s Haras du Logis in France.
