JORDAN Auctioneers successfully sold a smashing land holding of 63 acres with farmyard just outside the village of Kill in Co Kildare for €1.335 million last week.

Approximately 25 people attended the auction and bidding was brisk from the outset. The opening bid was €800,000 and four bidders battled it out before the hammer fell at €1,335,000 which equates to a price of just under €22,000 per acre.

It is understood the purchaser is from the area.

The land has frontage on to the Barberstown Road. Laid out in five divisions, it is described as “all top quality with no waste whatsoever”.
