FIVE National Hunt mares, a very well-bred four-year-old flat filly and a few stallion breeding rights are among the 10 lots in next Thursday’s Arqana Online Sale.

The star lot looks to be Gyspy Gold, a four-year-old filly by Siyouni. A two-time winner, Gypsy Gold was rated 91 at her highest and is offered out-of-training by Haras de Saint Pair. She is out of Glorious Sight, placed in the Group 1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches and already the dam of Group 2 winner Glycon and the listed-placed Glaer.

Gypsy Gold hails from the Kilfrush Stud family of Group 1 winners The United States, Hydrangea and Hermosa, and the maternal line of Last Tycoon and Immortal Verse.

The first five lots are National Hunt mares from Haras des Coudraies, which is downsizing. Karouska, Korliska, Koskia Line, Kapkine and Kiraline are all by leading French jump sires. Three of the five are related to Grade 1 winner Kotkita and one is in foal to Masked Marvel.

Also on offer are breeding rights to stallions Goliath Du Berlais, Victor Ludorum and Irish Derby winner Latrobe.

A Grade 1 winner over fences, Goliath Du Berlais is due to have his first three-year-old runners this year. Victor Ludorum (by Shamardal) was a Group 1 winner at two and won the Poule d’Essai des Poulains at three. His first crop are yearlings.

There is also a half share (1/100th) in Wooded for sale. Standing at Haras de Bouquetot, he stands for a fee of €10,000 this season and will have his first two-year-olds runners this year The half-share gives the right to one covering per year.

The sale runs for just two hours, from 3pm to 5pm, next Thursday.
