TRAINER and point-to-point handler Ellmarie Holden is sending seven horses to the Goffs January Sale in Doncaster on Tuesday, including recent Cork chase winner Jet Setting Johnny and point-to-point scorer Frisby.

There are almost 170 horses catalogued, the majority of them National Hunt yearlings. Sires represented in that section include Walk In The Park, Blue Bresil, Nathaniel, No Risk At All and Golden Horn.

Among the National Hunt mares on offer are three listed winners in foal.

The horses-in-training session also feature the Whitewall Stables Dispersal which will offer six horses on behalf of the retiring trainer Mark Campion.

Mags Mullins has three fillies engaged, aged between four and six, and other notable vendors include Shark Hanlon, Goldford Stud, Mill House Stud, Stuart Crawford, Nicky Henderson and Yorton Stud.

The sale will also host the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association’s NH Stallion Showcase, which will see 12 British-based sires on show.

Supplementary entries include Brian Ellison's Newcastle runner-up Reclaim Victory and Mary Ellen Doyle's Ballindenisk point-to-point runner-up Not Now Tayto.
