GORESBRIDGE Horse Sales will stage a point-to-point sale on Thursday, November 28th.
The Co Kilkenny sales company recently returned to the thoroughbred sector and staged a successful sale of pointers last April.
Ed Donohoe said: “We were hugely encouraged by the success of our first sale. The aim is to have a number of entrants that will have run through October until the time of sale.
“This will be the only outlet in Ireland for them, and will cater for any horses that do not get into the marquee sales, as well as those vendors who choose not to travel to the UK.”
The sale is being supported by Irish Thoroughbred Marketing.
Donohoe also confirmed that Goresbridge will stage three point-to-point sales in 2025, the first of which will take place in April. The company also plans to stage a breeze-up sale, in conjunction with Gowran Park, in May.
