ARQANA will stage five days of sales in Deauville, starting next Saturday (November 18th) with a flat yearling sale. Sunday is blank and then the four-day Autumn Sale starts on Monday, devoted to jumping stock but also with some flat horses on offer.

Graduates of the Autumn Sale include Gentleman De Mee, Greaneteen, Easy Game and Gaillard Du Mesnil.

Monday’s session will see 259 flat and National Hunt horses-in-training go under the hammer. The Aga Khan will offer 10 lots including the talented Behtar and Beshtani, as well as the promising Sheradann and Cannjayar.

Also on the flat, blacktype performers Dawn Intello, Hayejohn, Maylin and Machete will go under the hammer, as well as the youngsters Zillow and Nope Never.

Over jumps, AQPS group race winner Jet Blue and listed hurdle scorer Eximia will be offered, together with the promising Autoportrait and Koktail Divin.

Wildcards added this week include Million Miles Away from Pascal Bary’s stables. Fourth at Le Mans on her second start, the daughter of Sea The Stars is out of the classic winner Channel.

Pirouz, trained by Waldemar Hickst, is another to note. A listed winner last season and twice group-placed this year, the son of Counterattack has a rating of 99.

Listed scorer and dual seven-furlong winner Let’s Go Crazy could be a bit of value.

The winner of a listed race in October, the two-year-old Zorken has a rating of 101 and looks classy.

A winner on his second start over a mile at Chantilly last month, the Nicolas Clément-trained Shamrock Glitter is a two-year-old son of Shalaa and a half-brother to dual Group 1 winner Lord Glitters.

Over jumps, Davide Satalia will offer three lots, starting with Kappa Jy Pyke, a winner on his debut over a mile and a half. The three-year-old son of Masked Marvel hails from the family of Grade 1 winner Djeddah.

He will be joined by Epinephrine, a three-year-old daughter of No Risk At All who was runner-up in a bumper on her debut and placed at Auteuil on her first start over hurdles, as well as Saint Tunis, a three-year-old son of Tunis who won over hurdles at Nancy on his second outing.

Recent hurdles race winners Le Blavet and Kikijo should also prove popular.

Irish buyers will no doubt be active on Tuesday when 60 two-year-old stores go through the ring, followed by 184 yearlings, which will be spread between Tuesday and Wednesday.

The final day of the Autumn Sale, Thursday, consists entirely of National Hunt breeding stock. There are 135 fillies and mares as well as 95 National Hunt-bred foals.

Next Saturday’s November Yearling Sale will offer 180 lots by sires such as Advertise, Anodin, Cloth Of Stars, Dabirsim, Galiway, Goken, Kendargent, Le Havre, No Nay Never, Persian King, Starspangledbanner, Territories, Toronado, Zarak and Zelzal.
