Lynam and de Bromhead runners sold online

THIS week’s Tattersalls Online July Sale was topped by the three-year-old Berkshire Phantom, who was sold out of Andrew Balding’s yard to Fionn McSharry for 28,000gns. The grey gelding by Expert Eye has a current Timeform rating of 88 following two wins this year.

The next highest priced lot in the sale was Anadora, a four-year-old filly who recently joined the Sarah Lynam yard from Kevin Ryan. Rated 92 at one time and having had one run for new connections, she was bought by Anadora Partners this week for 17,500gns.

The Henry de Bromhead trained Cosmic Invasion was bought by Kilross Bloodstock for 12,500gns. The 80-rated filly by Cotai Glory has a Chantilly win and Listowel placing to her credit.

Gannon Glory is also by Cotai Glory and was a winner earlier this week for Richard Fahey. He was sold under the virtual hammer for 13,500gns to Paul Naughton.

The sale realised a turnover of 127,505gns for the sale of 18 lots, at an average of 7,084gns.
