Well, this is the case at the upcoming JRHA Select Sale of yearlings and foals, set to take place on July 10th and 11th at Northern Horse Park. Some 230 yearlings, and slightly more foals, will come under the hammer, representing the best of Japanese breeding. .

ADMIRE MARS (2016, by Daiwa Major). Group 1 winner and best two-year-old in Japan, he won the Group 1 Hong Kong Mile, and these were among his six career wins for earnings of £3.9 million. His first crop are yearlings in 2023.
Lot 47 is a yearling half-brother to five winners, and his dam was a Grade 1 winner at two in the USA, successful in the Del Mar Debutante Stakes and runner-up at Grade 1 level.
Lot 98 is a yearling filly whose dam, Heir Kitty (Wildcat Heir), won four times in the USA, including the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes.

DANON SMASH (2015, by Lord Kanaloa). A Group 1 winner in Japan and in Hong Kong. He won the Takamatsunomiya Kinen and the Hong Kong Sprint. He won 11 of his 26 starts in five seasons racing. His first crop are foals in 2023.
