A SELECT draft of two-year-olds feature in the recently-released catalogue for the Goffs Arkle Sale, which takes place on June 10th and 11th, followed by Part 2 on June 12th. Bambino Fever was among the Grade 1 winners who flew the flag for the store sale this season and her full-brother is among those to go under the hammer next month.

Also catalogued are siblings of Briar Hill, Fastorslow, Gerri Colombe, Lisnagar Oscar and Willoughby Court, to name just a few. A Nathaniel gelding out of Limini is another notable entry, along with No Risk At All geldings out of half-sisters to the sire’s Grade 1 winners Allaho and Kopek Des Bordes.

Grade 1 winners

Jasmin De Vaux was one of five graduates who won at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, while Caldwell Potter returned to Grade 1-winning ways at Aintree. The sale has also forged an impressive record between the flags, produced three times as many four-year-old maiden winners as any other store sale.

All three-year-olds catalogued in Part 1 and Part 2 are eligible for the Goffs Defender Bumper at the 2026 Punchestown Festival, while the two-year-olds are eligible for the 2027 running. Last week’s race was won by Willie Mullins’ newcomer Wonderful Everyday, who was bought by her trainer and Harold Kirk for €120,000. Manister House Stud won a brand-new Defender for selling the winner.
