BOYLESPORTS has replaced Ladbrokes as the provider of on-track betting shop services at Limerick Racecourse.
Racegoers attending the four-day Christmas Festival at Greenmount will notice two new BoyleSports shops in the enclosure. The new facilities include a 12-screen digital broadcast gallery. As a special offer, BoyleSports will offer racecourse punters their money back if their win selection finishes second to the SP favourite on all races across all four days at Limerick.
The Grade 1 Faugheen Novice Chase on December 28th is the highlight of the meeting. The Willie Mullins-trained Gaelic Warrior landed the €100,000 race last year.
Sharon McHugh of BoyleSports said: “We are delighted to further strengthen our relationship with Limerick Racecourse by opening two brand new shops, ahead of the Christmas meeting.”
Five-year deal
BoyleSports recently signed a five-year deal to become the title sponsor of the Munster National.
Michael Lynch, CEO of Limerick Racecourse, said: “We are thrilled to be improving our offerings to racegoers in conjunction with BoyleSports, with the opening of the two new betting shops here at Limerick. The four days racing are very much a pilgrimage for the people of Limerick and indeed Munster and it will be great to see their positive reaction to this and the other improvements we have made to the racecourse in recent times.”
