GALILEO (Sadler’s Wells) has achieved the highest average price of any stallion at European yearling sales held in 2021 up to October 17th, according to the newly published Weatherbys Bloodstock Sales Review Part 1.

The late Coolmore phenomenon has had 20 yearlings sell under the hammer, for an average price of 498,770gns (€586,554). The most expensive of all was a filly out of Nickname (Scat Daddy), a US Grade 1 winner, who was bought by MV Magnier for €1.5 million at the Goffs Orby Yearling Sale.
