THREE more top awards won by Irish Sport Horses at Lanaken, three more milestones for Kilkenny sport horse breeding – this was the exceptional result at the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) show jumping championships for young horses last weekend.

Kilkenny’s Seamus Hughes-Kennedy (17) won the prestigious seven-year-old World Championship Final with Cuffesgrange Cavadora (ISH), owned by his mother Clare Hughes. Carlow’s Jason Foley (18) and Rockwell RC won the five-year-old final while Kildare’s Mikey Pender collected silver here with Chacco Bay (OLDBG).
