THAT the Irish are now a force to be reckoned with at the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) is a cast-iron fact again this year.

Irish Sport Horses have been consistent medal winners; for example at recent championships, there was Lanaken gold for ABC Saving Grace and BP Goodfellas in 2022. Then, four more medals last year, including a clean sweep in the five-year-old final. And last weekend, the ISH studbook recorded a gold and bronze, the best result of the 2024 championships.
