HOW do I go about explaining the weekend of fun and frolics we had at the Irish Pony Club senior camp? I guess I should firstly tell you that it took place in Gurteen Agricultural College from September 25th to 27th and was attended by branch members from Tynagh, West Carbery, Limerick, Beara, Clew Bay, Araglen and Laois.

We arrived on the Friday evening and everyone unloaded bag and baggage. Once horses and riders were settled in, we quickly began the first of many lessons with Tony Ennis. When that was over we all headed for our base for the weekend, the ‘cabin’. Here we talked about how we felt the horses went during the lesson.
