AUCTAV has revealed the preliminary catalogues for its first sales of 2025, with entries still being accepted for the January Flat Sale and January National Hunt Sale.
Haras de Colleville is responsible for almost half of the 66 lots catalogued in the flat sale, many of them by their own stallions.
They include a Galiway yearling filly out of an own-sister to Group 1 sprinter Restiadargent and a filly from the first crop of Prix Maurice de Gheest victor Marianafoot, out of listed winner Miss Louna.
Anna Sundstrom’s Coulonces Sales offer three well-related broodmares. Swedish Challenge is a half-sister to the blacktype dam of Broome, stakes performer Sea Of Snow is offered in foal to Camelot, and the well-related Crime Fighter is in foal to Hello Youmzain.
A select 16 lots have been confirmed so far for the National Hunt equivalent, the majority of which are consigned by Hamel Stud. They include listed winner and Grade 3 performer Fracafigura Has, whose first foal is a blacktype performer.
The following lot is another listed winner and graded performer in Oklahoma Seven, herself the dam of Grade 2 runner-up Authoryty Seven, while Kotkibed is the dam of Grade 2 winner and twice Grade 1-placed Kool Has.
The catalogue contains a Network half-sister to Grade 1 heroine Roll On Has, while there is also an Authorized mare out of that top-class hurdler.
Irish readers will be familiar with the pedigree of Eurasie Des Francs, as a half-sister to Willie Mullins’ Grade 1 winner Redemption Day, with Philip Hobbs’ Grade 1 scorer Cheltenian featuring under the second dam.
Auctav general manager Arnaud Angéliaume commented: “As it’s our largest online sale, we’ll be introducing a refreshed look, while keeping the interface just as intuitive. No one will lose their bearings, and everything will run even more smoothly.”
