With over 50 years in the business, Gill’s Driving School are the go-to to help cut the confusion and get the correct certification for what you need and are running their next Equine Transport course on Monday 19th February and Monday 25th March 2024 @ 17.30 via Zoom.
You can book your course at gillsdrivingschool.ie. The cost is only €290 per person and is conducted via Zoom and lasts approximately two hours. Once you pass, your details are sent directly to the Department of Agriculture.
The course is certified by the Department of Agriculture and regulated by the EU, the certificate lasts for 10 years.
For those who do not have the UK Equine cert you can get one on the back of completing the course with Gill’s, you simply send a copy of your Irish/EU cert to DEFRA and they will give you a UK one which you don’t have to pay for or sit another course.
For truck certification you will need to contact the Department of Agriculture in Dublin on 0035316072000.
