Now firmly established at Moydrum following a move from its former town location on the banks of the Shannon, the show was another to benefit from the return of the Irish summer last weekend.

Over 700 entries, including those problematic late ones, flocked to the Gaffey family’s farm and equestrian centre on a glorious Sunday. The midlands venue also hosted the fourth of the six Irish Field Breeders Championship qualifiers with five good combinations lining out.
