PLUSVITAL is proud to announce that their chief technical officer, Rebecca Watson, has been officially added to the UK’s Association for Nutrition (AfN) Register, recognised for her specialist expertise in equine nutrition.

The AfN is the independent regulator of qualified nutrition professionals, maintaining a UK-regulated register that includes accredited practitioners working across the globe. Being listed on the register represents the highest standard of evidence-based practice, scientific integrity, and continued professional development in the field of nutrition. While the register predominantly includes professionals in human nutrition, Rebecca’s inclusion reflects her exceptional qualifications and unique focus within the veterinary and equine sectors.

Years of experience

Rebecca is a registered veterinary nurse with over 15 years of experience in first opinion and referral equine practice and holds a Master’s degree in Equine Science from the University of Edinburgh. She has worked across five continents in both thoroughbred and sport horse environments and has been contributing to the field of equine nutrition since 2016.

At Plusvital, Rebecca leads new product development, provides technical support, and delivers education and advice to customers and partners, ensuring the scientifically formulated supplements continue to meet the highest standards in equine health and performance.

Her inclusion on the AfN Register reinforces Plusvital’s commitment to scientific credibility, innovation and global leadership in equine nutrition. It also offers their customers the reassurance that the guidance and products they receive are grounded in internationally recognised best practices.

Congratulations to Rebecca on this achievement and we look forward to following the continued impact of her expertise on horses’ health and performance around the world.
