ANOTHER academic year has started at CAFRE and the students are eager to show you around the excellent equine facilities they get to use. If you are considering studying for an equine qualification now is the time to visit.

The Enniskillen Campus Open Day is being held today (Saturday, October 7th) with tours available to book at 11am and 2pm.

CAFRE equine courses range from a City and Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate in Equine Care to an Ulster University validated BSc (Hons) Degree in Equine Management. With a range of entry levels you are sure to find a course to suit you.

Full-time further education courses (Level 2 and Level 3 programmes) have no tuition fees. Students at CAFRE gain knowledge in all aspects of equine management including horse handling and exercise, horse care, equitation, racing, nutrition, equine health and equine science along with enterprise and business management plus a number of visits to professional establishments.

Once enrolled at CAFRE, degree students can also compete for industry bursaries and scholarships. Through their close links with leading equine businesses and ancillary sector organisations, students may be awarded bursaries or scholarship awards of up to £2,500.

Book to join the Open Day as you plan your journey to a career in the equine sector and visit www.cafre.ac.uk for more information on all courses.
