WITH the FEI’s new flagship series, the Longines League of Nations, set to commence its inaugural season in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on February 8th 2024, the qualification ranking has been published, featuring the 10 teams that are qualified to participate.

The top 10 teams on the Longines League of Nations Qualification Ranking include Ireland – who are frontrunners – followed by USA, France, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Brazil.

These teams have been invited to confirm their participation in the Series, which will see qualifiers being held in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Ocala (USA), St Galen (SUI) and Rotterdam (NED), where the world’s top 10 show jumping teams will compete for one of only eight places at the Longines League of Nations Final in Barcelona (ESP) to battle for the title.

“The Longines League of Nations is all about the team, and working together to achieve something greater than any individual performance,” said FEI President Ingmar De Vos.

“To be in the top 10 of the Longines League of Nations Qualification Ranking is in itself a huge achievement, and I want to congratulate all the individuals that have contributed to their nation’s ranking – from the athletes, the owners, the grooms, the Chefs d’Equipe, the support teams, the trainers and, of course, the National Federations, because that was a big team effort!

“We are really excited and working closely with the Organisers to provide the very best platform to showcase the very best sport from the very best nations, and we are looking forward to working closely with the 10 nations that will be part of the Longines League of Nations Series in 2024.

“And lastly, I want to thank our Top Partner Longines for their incredible support and commitment to this historic Series and everything that it stands for in our community.”
