WICKLOW’s Charlotte Goor paid a very successful visit to the Kildare/North Leinster Area pony show at Tattersalls Ireland last Sunday where she won the supreme championship on her mother Fiona’s Underhill Bobcat.

Earlier in the day, this combination had won their novice 148cms class ahead of Team Torrens’s Romanno Willow The Wisp but the positions were switched in the section championship. The Goors’s persistence paid off however and coming back for the show’s top award, Charlotte and Underhill Bobcat took the title with the Intermediate champion, Melissa O’Connor Murphy’s 10-year-old Rotspons Prince gelding, Darcy De Chantelboube, who was ridden by the owner’s daughter, Jessica Murphy.

The show’s starter stakes champion was the 14-year-old Holyoake Czar gelding Goldengrove Sunrise who was ridden for her mother Aine by Aoife Brennan.
