COLIN Bowe, Sam Curling, Harry Kelly, Pat Doyle and Cormac and Donnchadh Doyle are among the trainers selling stock at Wednesday’s Goresbridge Horses in Training and Point-to-Point Sale.
Already there are 37 horses entered for the sale, which starts at 1pm at the Co Kilkenny complex.
Among the standout entries is Endless Talking, a four-year-old son of Affinisea, who made a 12-length winning debut at Stradbally last Sunday for Donnchadh Doyle.
Another notable entry is Mickey Hulie, a Pour Moi five-year-old gelding who won his maiden well at Turtulla in January and was only beaten by a head in a winners of one at Bandon in March, his only subsequent start.
Bernard Crowley consigns The Price Of Peace, a Quest For Peace six-year-old gelding, who won his maiden by over 30 lengths at that Banon meeting in March and is unraced since.
David O’Brien trained Owning Flower, a five-year-old mare by Workforce, to win on her debut at Ballycahane in March. Runner-up Jennyfromtheblock boosted that form when winning next time out.
There are eight entries so far from the Doyles’ Monbeg Stables.
Goresbridge Horse Sales has made a big impression since reviving its thoroughbred sales recently. Graduates to have gone on to win on the track include Birmingham Alabama, Small Town Kid, Aspurofthemoment and Cloonainra.
The catalogues and race videos are available online. Veterinary certificates will be uploaded for all lots on Tuesday evening and viewing at the yard will be available from 5pm on Tuesday and from 11am on Wednesday.
