Madam: Following our All Welsh Pony Show write up of last week, I would like to apologise for a mistake in the report. The overall part-bred champion was, in fact, Wyndham Limelight, ridden by Olivia Mernane.

The pony impressed the British judges with his lovely movement, temperament and conformation. The same pony also won the Wexford Transport Irish-bred championship. I would like to thank our many sponsors, without whom we would be unable to present the beautiful sashes and rosettes which our show is well known for. To run a show with dedicated workmates is a pleasure and I feel privileged to have such good friends on our hard-working and dedicated committee. I look forward to the Black and Amber Championship later on in the summer and to welcoming our members to our annual general meeting in the autumn.
