1.50 Tote, Never Beaten By SP Rated Race 6f 150y

Blanc De Noir can register a first win since joining the Johnny Murtagh stable. A winner over this trip at the Curragh last season, the four-year-old has been running consistently of late. Having competed in higher grades on his most recent outings, the gelding should enjoy this easier task.

Imperial Dream is one capable of running a big race at what could be rewarding odds. The Pat Flynn-trained gelding has shaped well under Robyn Donaghue-Leahy on all three starts since arriving from Britain.

Vadali can continue the fine recent form of trainers Michael Halford and Tracey Collins. Having run well when fourth behind a subsequent winner at Gowran Park in May, the Aga Khan-owned colt backed that up with a third placed finish last time. The son of Churchill looks to be improving with racing.

Johnny Murtagh looks to have a smart team of three-year-old fillies this term, so his debutant Final Curtain should be noted. The stable are well capable of having one ready to win first-time out.

Irish Oaks entrant Flight Of Fancy should be able to take advantage of this significant ease in grade. Runner-up in a competitive fillies’ handicap at the Curragh on her penultimate start, the three-year-old disappointed at Royal Ascot last month. Having contested a Group 3 race earlier in the season, she will find this easier.

Leopardstown runner-up Thequietman looks the biggest threat. Although absent since that maiden in April, the form of that race has been well advertised subsequently.

The Andrew Slattery-trained Poppadom can gain a first career success. Runner-up at this track on his penultimate start, the form of that race has been well advertised by the winner on his next two runs. Out of a Cape Cross mare, stepping up to a mile for the first time could bring about further improvement.

A consistent gelding in recent weeks, Bellewstown third Saffredi makes a quick reappearance here. If none the worse for his mid-week exertions, the Gavin Cromwell trained runner can get involved.

With the Willie McCreery stable really hitting form of late, Cancelled may be able to lose her maiden tag at the fourth attempt. Runner-up on her debut at Cork in May, the daughter of Almanzor had a couple of these behind when occupying the same position at Navan subsequently.

La Vita Nova, a staying on fourth in that aforementioned race, should be competitive. Making her debut on that occasion, the Jessica Harrington-trained filly has scope for further improvement.

Course and distance winner Forlio can defy topweight to give trainer Paul Flynn another success. Having his first start in 576 days when victorious here in May, the five-year-old was unable to back that up at Tipperary next time but deserves another chance.

Mayo For Sam was a well-beaten sixth behind Forlio on their last meeting but opened her account next time at Navan. Adrian McGuinness’ filly has work to do if she is to overturn that earlier form with the Flynn horse.

Despite being slightly worse off at the weights, the Andrew Slattery-trained Killeemore Lad may be able to confirm recent course and distance form with Curious Bride. Having caught the eye staying on late at Listowel, the gelded son of Doyen made no mistake last time. He probably needs to win this to get into Galway.

Curious Bride rallied well inside the final furlong to get within a length of Killeemore Lad on their last meeting. Champion jockey Colin Keane is a significant booking.
