1.40: Buckley Agri New Holland Irish EBF Median Auction Maiden

Harry The Rogue’s third behind Warnie looks really good considering Warnie’s victory in a listed race at Tipperary. It appears to be the best bit of form in this race by some way. Cardinal Zin's second placing in Sligo on softer ground puts him close. But considering the improvement shown by Harry The Rougue, it is hard not to fancy him here.

Selection: Harry The Rogue

Next Best: Cardinal Zin

2.15: Thorn Plant Hire Handicap

Breezy Zoff for Gavin Cromwell is an interesting one here. She has finished second three times recently. Cromwell is probably the most in-form trainer in the country at the moment, with five winners from 12 runners this week. Breezy Zoff's win at the Curragh last year in similar conditions suggests things could fall right for her today. Last year’s winner Run The Jewels could run another big race.

Selection: Breezy Zoff

Next Best: Run The Jewels

2.50 Behans Horseshoe Bar, Restaurant & Townhouse Maiden

Very hard one to call here but Time Tells All has put in a few eye-catching performances in the past. He appears to be a horse who can handle heavy ground so a return to those conditions gives him a chance here. Rick Dalton could get a 'new stable' bounce here and run a big race for Cian Collins and Colin Keane.

Selection: Time Tells All

Next Best: Rick Dalton

3.25 Tote Ireland Handicap

Simply Sideways for Timmy Doyle has been running consistently in fairly competitive handicaps as of late. The handicapper has been fair to her. She has only been out of the top four once in nine efforts this year. All of those have been in biggish fields too. The Doyles' horses have been running well so he has a good chance here. Comfort Line could run into the money but needs to improve on what he showed on his last two outings.

Selection: Simple Sideways

Next Best: Comfort Line

4.00 Kevin McManus Bookmaker Handicap

Katonah got soft ground last time out in Sligo and performed better than she had been doing as a result. Colin Keane staying aboard her today is a massive plus. Sioxanne is another filly whose best performances have come on soft ground. She could also go close here for a yard in-form.

Selection: Katonah

Next Best: Sioxanne

4.35 Listowel Printing Works Handicap

The feature handicap on the day is a wide-open affair and there are a good few with chances. Naas winner Oriole has to be considered. Since joining Ian Donoghue she has put in some fine efforts. Adam Caffery’s 5lb claim could be vital to her and she might go close. Vultan might run well for a trainer who is always to be feared in a big festival handicap.

Selection: Oriole

Next Best: Vultan

5.10 MAC Fuels & General Supplies Maiden

Hey Whatever for Noel Meade was far from disgraced in a very competitive maiden back in March. That was her only run on heavy ground. She hasn’t done much since but her last run was promising. Charming Star made a promising on debut and can run well again here.

Selection: Hey Whatever

Next Best: Charming Star

5.45 Treo Eile Retraining Ireland's Racehorses Handicap

The aptly-named Weather Alert has shown good form in the past on soft ground. He hasn’t run fantastically since returning from a long absence but he may have needed those outings and is worth taking a punt on here. Zileo is a consistent performer and might be there or thereabouts in the final race of the day.

Selection: Weather Alert

Next Best: Zileo
