“THE most recent high in Goffs was the Niarchos Draft in November 2023 when Alpine Star and Alpha Centauri sold for €6,000,000 apiece which proved to be the highest prices in the world last year.

That followed the highest priced foal in Europe and North America at €700,000 for the Dubawi – Nightime colt just two days earlier.

I was the lucky auctioneer for Alpha Centauri and the Dubawi colt, and it is always a thrill to auction high profile lots but, more importantly, they prove a big point for Goffs as, every time we get the opportunity, we deliver the best prices and exceed vendor expectations.
