SVEN Hadley completed the hat-trick on Saturday, this time claiming the 1.25m international. Speed merchant against the clock, he partnered HSH Harper Du Seigneur to a double clear in 40.80 seconds.

Owned and bred by Hadley Sport Horses, the nine-year-old stallion is by Aganix Du Seigneur x Chippison. Aimee Barry and Garryndruig Limoncello came closest to catching the time, but 41.54 would only prove good enough for second place.

American visitor Catherine Pasmore and Eden De Maugre slotted into fifth, when they delivered a clear in 51.45. Paul Beecher added to his haul, when he partnered Danqu to a clear in 41.28.
