FRANKEL will command a stud fee of £275,000 at Juddmonte’s Banstead Manor Stud next year, up from £200,000 this year, following a season of top-level success by his progeny on the track and big prices in the sales ring.

Westover (Irish Derby), Nashwa (Prix de Diane), Alpinista (Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe) and Chaldean (Dewhurst Stakes) were among Frankel’s best achievers on the racecourse in 2022.

He was also the sire of the four highest-priced yearlings at Tattersalls Book 1, headlined by the world’s most expensive yearling sold in 2022 at 2.8 million guineas.

Kingman’s fee has been slightly reduced from £150,000 to £125,000. This year he sired 14 individual group winners including the unbeaten Group 1 Fillies’ Mile winner Commissioning and the dual Group 1-winning Kinross.

Oasis Dream remains on £20,000 as he enters his 20th season at stud. His champion two-year-old of 2021, Native Trail, added the Irish 2000 Guineas to his victories this year, following a close second in the English equivalent.

Bated Breath stays at £15,000. The group-winning two-year-old Juliet Sierra was one of nine blacktype performers for her sire in 2022. A yearling filly by Bated Breath out of Always A Dream (Oasis Dream) realised 600,000gns to Godolphin at Tattersalls Book 1.

Expert Eye’s first crop has produced 21 individual winners to-date. His fee will be £7,500 and all Juddmonte stallions are single live foal contracts.
